Does Riverview accept Medicaid?
Yes, we have a state contract with Medicaid for those who qualify.

Do you have a Medicare contract?
Yes, we have a contract for those who qualify for Medicare.

I am not ready to come into the skilled nursing now, but my spouse is. Can I room with him/her when I need the skilled nursing?
Yes, although the moves needed to make this possible may take a short while. Under most circumstances spouses are able to room together.

We are not ready now for skilled nursing, but will be soon. How do I get into skilled nursing? Is there a waiting list?
You can contact the Care Center anytime to arrange a visit and tour. At that time, you can speak with our Admissions Coordinator about entrance into the Care Center and how to put your name on our waiting list.

My parents are both in an assisted living facility but one parent now needs skilled nursing care. Is there a way for my mother to come into the Care Center and my father to move into the Assisted Living faciltity at Riverview?
Yes, in fact this is quite common although admission into either the Care Center and/or the Terrace Assisted Living is dependent on room availability. Please contact our Admissions Coordinator for further assistance.

Does Riverview have its own bus to provide transportation?
We have two buses that we use to provide community outings. We also have a wheelchair accessible van that our staff can help you schedule for transportation to medical appointments.
